GOP candidate Mitt Romney’s statement during last night’s presidential debate that he looked through “binders full of women” when searching for members of the Massachusetts cabinet has struck a chord with social media and the Twitterverse.
#BindersFullofWomen became a trending topic on Twitter, and the account @RomneysBinder has attracted more than 6,000 followers. Several Facebook pages have also cropped up including Binders of Full Women, which has garnered 300,000 Likes. And a Tumblr blog at bindersfullofwomen.tumblr.com has been posting the above meme-generating images.
