Kraft Foods Group and Mondelez International have begun trading as two separate public companies.
Kraft Foods Inc. spun off its grocery business in March, and renamed the remaining company Mondelez International Inc., which houses global brands such as Oreo, Cadbury, and Nabisco and trades under “MDLZ.”
The North American grocery business will continue to carry the name Kraft which includes Velveeta, Miracle Whip, and Oscar Mayer. Its ticker will change to “KRFT” from “KFT.”
