Following the first 2012 presidential debate on Wednesday night at the University of Denver, TV analysts pointed out that GOP candidate Mitt Romney came out strong and assertive, while President Barack Obama appeared to be more subdued and “lackluster.”
Republicans, Democrats, and nonpartisans believe that the former Massachusetts governor’s performance has put him back on the campaign trail, particularly for undecided voters, because he argued against Obama’s least-favored proposals. The president did, however, come out strong during the portion of the debate when he criticized Romney’s “voucher-like” plan for Medicare.
