A majority of likely voters believe President Obama has conducted his re-election campaign in a more civil manner than governor Mitt Romney, according to a new public opinion poll by Weber Shandwick in partnership with Powell Tate and KRC Research.
The civility gap could play a significant role when voters go to the polls. Nearly half of likely voters surveyed (48%) said the presidential candidate’s civility will be a “very important” factor in how they vote.
