Google debuted its high-tech eyewear on the runway at the Diane von Furstenberg show during New York Fashion Week. Models donned the futuristic frames along with the designer’s Spring 2013 collection.
Known as Google Glass, the specs contain a camera, a display screen, and a processor that overlay digital information on the wearer’s environment. At the fashion show, the glasses were used to record behind-the-scenes footage for a short film, “DVF through Glass,” to be released on the brand’s Google+ page.
