Both the Mitt Romney and Barack Obama campaigns are keeping voters in the loop with mobile apps. The “Who Will be Mitt’s VP?” app promises to update mobile users via push notifications of his choice for a running mate. Romney’s previous app was released with this embarrassing misspelling.
The “Obama for America” app is a campaign organizing tool that allows supporters to receive news updates and locate nearby campaign events such as voter registration drives.
Both apps have social integration so users can sign on using their Facebook accounts and use the sharing capabilities as well as campaign donation functions.
