Oreo showed its support of gay pride on its Facebook page with an image of an Oreo cookie with rainbow creme filling under the title “Proudly support love!”
The image immediately generated more than 18,000 comments both in support and opposition to the brand. It also sparked a Change.org petition to make the Photoshopped cookie into the real thing.
