DePaul University’s College of Communication awarded an honorary degree to GolinHarris founder and chairman Al Golin at its commencement ceremony. The university honored Golin for developing the “trust bank” concept in 1957 with McDonald’s CEO Ray Kroc, which helped McDonald’s give back to communities through its Ronald McDonald House Charities and other initiatives.
